Religion:
Jalbert was not a real preachy kind of guy. I don't even know if he went to church while I knew him, but he was clearly a Christian, and revered Jesus Christ. Dom had a natural talent of helping people around him, and made it look effortless. He was very involved in helping charitable organizations including my parents at Mission Possible, as well as donating sewing machines and materials to the nuns in West Palm Beach. Another interesting fact is that during the early fifty's the St. Joan of Arc Church, which was started in Jalbert's Blimp Hanger on 20th street, is now the largest Catholic Church in Boca Raton. Jalbert never pushed his beliefs on anyone, he just had this way of often saying these little prayers or insights out loud, which would sometimes give an incredible glimpse through a window, to see who the man Jalbert actually was.

"You gave me brains God, show me how to use them!"

"When you can realize that the best one of us they could find, they nailed to a tree. What is the worst thing they can do to me."

"Lord let me know if this is the day to come home, but if it is not, I've got work to do."

Jalbert had a crucifix and a clock on the wall in his lab. He would point to the cross when we would come back to the lab from testing kites and say, "That's my boss."

"Sex is not a toy. They come and wreck this gift and pervert it; they want to sell it. It's like throwing a tomato in the face of God. It's an abortion what we do."

"My specialty is to harness the wind to work with the energy which the Lord put at my disposal"

"After flying a parafoil, it leaves the environment unaltered when removed, but has changed our spirits forever."
