The Skybow:

After 6 years of research, 40 variations, 10 types of materials and more than a mile of ribbon (5280 feet) constructed, we have sorted out the best for function and design. This is it..., Introducing the SkyBow!!! The complete unit is manufactured and is brought to you directly from the WindMueller Aerology Research and Development Laboratory in Boca Raton, Florida. The SkyBow is comprised of 125 continuous feet of rip-stop airfoil ribbon for the ultimate in durability and performance. You can connect extra lengths to it later to build an arch as high as you want to go. There is no known limit. The longest I have gone is 1000', creating an arch approximately 333 feet in the center. The pull was over 33 lbs on each end. The SkyBow also comes with 2 high tension swivel handles that are designed to turn under pressure with the precision and smoothness of a Lexus. In a light wind the bow can spin at an incredible 3000 RPM's (Revolutions per minute), no batteries required. Then, a hum will begin to sound, which is the loudest from beneath the center of the bow. Much like the sweeping motion of a helicopter blade, the lateral rotation and the rounded airfoil shaped edge of the Skybow, is what gives it lift. It is possible to obtain an arch up to an 80 degree angle tilted away from the direction of the wind. With longer bows, a horseshoe type arch is possible shaped like the St. Louis Arch in Missouri.
Included with your swivel handles and bow comes a spool to wind everything up on. It all comes in a special pull string pouch to keep everything together with the instructions. Find a friend help you hold the ends so you can hear the noise it makes from underneath the center. With a good wind it sounds like a jet engine.
